Once we get into the stadium, we’ll have banners hung, flags waving and drums, so it should be easy to spot us. During the games you can expect us to stand and be loud and rowdy while cheering on the Spirit!
Player of the Match
Following the game, the Spirit Squadron selects the Player of the Match. Each player receives a trophy made by Squadron members.
The Spirit Squadron is a safe, positive and encouraging supporters’ group for the Washington Spirit. We stand behind our team and the NWSL. We aim to be respectful of our players, our coaches, fellow fans and opposing teams’ fans.
